Hillary's Speech

TalkLeft is crashing . This is the backup site. Feel free to comment.

Hillary just began speaking. The most electric moment of the convention so far.

Michelle Obama, who has been shown all night long laughing and animated, is clapping but with the tightest mouth I've seen on her, as if she's totally nervous. She's constantly pursing her lips. Relax, Michelle, Hillary's on your side now.

Update: She hit it out of the park. Great speech. She also outlined all the Democratic values. Not a hint of bitterness. She projects the voice of experience and leadership with supreme confidence and credibility. The consummate Democrat.

I consider this a commencement speech.

And I am loving the multiple mentions of healthcare.

It's the first speech of Hillary 2012. Seriously. Best case scenario.

Yep. What a loss for the country. What a squandered opportunity for the Party.

Obama made a bid mistake. Imagine how the ticket would have been with her as the VP partner. She was great in the speech. Hit a home run. And Keith O gave her raves if you can believe it. Best speech so far this condition. Oh, I so wish it had been her acceptance speech. I remember Ted Kennedy having a great speech in 1980. aka BarnBabe

Hillary did a fantastic job. Michelle looked angry. Bill looked so sad. I share his feeling. Hillary should be on the ticket. Without her, I can't support it. So sad.

There was a woman on Cnn, a young AA and she was so articulate and passionate about Clinton and what she felt she meant to women. It was wonderful. I hope I can find it as it is a classic.

That woman on CNN was amazing. Obama has work to do.

I got on an older date - I am confused but so what. I have been that for sometime. Missed the speech - fell asleep - but it will be on again I'm sure.
